Designed by Jon Shore (2011)

Logo Design & Creative Direction by Jon Shore

In 2011, designer Jon Shore created the Great British Bake Off logo, grounding the identity in the idea that baking is rooted in nostalgia. Drawing inspiration from early 20th-century Britain,  Shore combined Victorian ornamental swirls with confident Art Deco typography to evoke warmth, tradition and a pre-war sense of optimism. The producers felt the design immediately captured the spirit of the show, and the logo has remained central to the Bake Off brand ever since.
