I created the full music video for Hilly Fields by Simon Lord (via Wonderful Sound), built around a visual journey from the dark, magnetic pull of the city to the open light of the countryside and coast.
The Soho sequences were shot handheld from the back of a car driven by the label owner, capturing the restless energy of late-night London. The journey footage was filmed on a GoPro during the train ride from Waterloo to Dorset, passing through the industrial landscape of Southampton Docks. The final scenes were shot around Dungeness, with its stark coastal views and the looming presence of the nuclear power station.
